What if your doctor could give you their full attention?
Why your care provider uses DocNote, and what it changes for you.
In a nutshell
During your appointment, your care provider uses an assistant that transcribes the conversation and then writes up the notes on their behalf. They no longer need to take notes or type while talking to you. They can focus entirely on you.
Why your care provider uses it
They are more present. Rather than staring at a screen and typing, they listen to you and look at you. The consultation becomes a real exchange again.
Nothing important is missed. The report faithfully captures what was said: your symptoms, your history, the decisions made.
And they have more time for you. The time they used to spend writing up documents can now be spent on your care.
What happens with your appointment
The consultation is recorded, with your agreement. The recording is then converted into text, then into a report. Your care provider reads it, corrects it if needed, and validates it — they remain solely responsible for your file. The audio recording is automatically deleted no later than 7 days after the appointment. Only the validated report is kept in your file, like any other consultation note.
Your data
Your data stays in Switzerland, on Swiss servers, and never leaves the country. It is confidential and protected by medical secrecy, just like the rest of your file. Only your care team can access it.
It is never sold or used for advertising purposes. And it is never used to train an artificial intelligence: your consultations are only used to produce your report.
You stay in control
You can refuse at any time, simply by telling your care provider, and this does not affect your care in any way. You can also ask them any questions you have. Finally, you have rights over your data, including the right to know what data concerns you, in accordance with Swiss data protection law.
